About Your First Boat Guide

Your First Boat came into existence because I know there are many resources for information concerning purchasing your first boat. The biggest problem I have encountered with all of these resources is that you must travel to so many sites, they lack both detail, and terms that a layman could understand, and they can easily frustrate the new boat adventurer.

After spending the past year researching and reviewing the needs of being a boat owner, experiencing many ups and downs and some disasters, I felt it was important to develop an easy-to-read and simple handbook for anyone wishing to join the world of boating.

The greatest thing about a boat is F R E E D O M. A boat can take you anywhere and as far away as you want to go. It will connect you with new and great people you never knew existed and a culture that is adventurous and explorative at heart.

I encourage you to join the ranks of boat owners, even if you are starting with a kayak in your backyard pool….Okay so maybe in at least a river.
